I know I haven’t posted in a long time. I’ve been thinking about where to go with the Chicky-Chick and Raccoon stories. But now, I’m finally back with a Christmas poem!

soft

light

scratchy sweet smelling

hay

wind

gently blowing

wooden beams

creak

warm tired

smiles

donkey

brays

hurried feet

skid to a stop

shepherds

drop

their staffs

in wonder

in a

manger

lays

a baby

the son of God
