Leave

Hi,

I was looking out my window today, wondering what to write, when I saw it.

The perfect subject for today’s poem.

A dying tree.

Leave

the tree outside

my window

is dying

dead

branches at the

top

their leaves

fluttering away

too soon

but

the leaves

still left

are shaped

like

a

heart

I hoped you liked this poem.

The actual tree, the star of this poem, is smiling smugly outside right now. I’m sure he’s bragging to all the other trees and making a regular nuisance of himself.

I’ll probably be hearing from the other trees soon.

They are waving their branches at me and look very annoyed, so I better get going…

But before I go, here is a quote, that, while it doesn’t have anything to do with this post, I think you will find it interesting.

Gravity

“The world has turned upside down, like gravity changed it’s mind.” -Kylli Berg
