I’m sorry I haven’t made a post lately, the holidays have been super busy, so I kind of gave myself a break.
This poems is about the end, the end of the holidays.
The lights are unstrung,
the ornaments packed away,
the tree taken down,
not to be seen again for many a day,
the carols are no longer sung,
the holly no longer hung,
the holidays are over now,
by the time they roll around again,
we’ll be different people,
inside our souls.
Thanks for reading this, I hope you liked it.
Now, I’d like to share with you a quote from one of my earlier poems,
“Until you looked closer and saw the love that had made them.” -Kylli Berg
