Flawed Delight

Hi,

Today I will be sharing with you a poem.

I hope you like it.

Flawed Delight

You gaze out at the dark gray sky,

silent tears from deep inside form a river at your feet.

Pretending nothing is wrong,

pasting on a fabricated smile,

when really you’re broken inside,

when really you just want to run away and hide,

running blindly through your tears.

Thanks for reading this, I hope you liked it!

Now a quote from one of my earlier poems,

Down and Up Again

“Run down the hill and with words defy,
the sadness so many justify.” -Kylli Berg
