Hi,
Today I’ll be sharing a poem that I wrote today.
It was inspired by a trip I took to a HUGE sand dune that I ran down and climbed back up three times.
This poem is about how to run down the hill, you must climb back up when you are done.
Down and Up Again
Run down the hill so fast you fly,
run down down the hill and touch the sky,
run down the hill and with words defy,
the sadness so many justify,
run down the hill but do not forget,
you must climb back up to see the sunset.

Thanks for reading this, I hope you liked it!
Now for something from one of my earlier poems,
“My feet make footprints on the white sand,
a beach littered with shells from a time long ago.” -Kylli Berg
I liked this one more than some of the others – the idea of going down and then you have to go back up to see the sunset was brilliant.
