Lemons

Hi,

Unfortunately I missed my second blog post for last week, so I am making my first blog post for this week earlier than usual in an attempt to make up for it.

Now for a poem I wrote.

Lemons

Lemons,

cut into slices and balanced on a glass,

bittersweet joy,

summer shadows,

tart slices of sorrow pretending to be a sweet treat,

they dress up lemons and call them lemonade,

but they will always be lemons.

Lemons.

Thanks for reading this, I hope you liked it!

Now, to finish off with a quote from one my past poems,

Sky Song

“Listen and hear the sad blue Sky singing back to the Sun.” -Kylli Berg
