Sight of the Sun

Hi,

Today I’ll be sharing with you a poem that is kind of an experiment on my part, but as always, I hope you like it.

Sight of the Sun

the rooster crows each day at the sight of the sun

a new day

with the promise of life

the rooster does not crow when the day is done

the rooster only reminds the world of what it now has

not what it has lost

Thanks for reading this, I hope you liked it!

Now, normally I put a quote at the end of my posts, but since I have gotten a some new followers lately, I have decided we’ll take a look at a quote from one of the poems I wrote.

Here is the link to the poem this quote is from.

Eternity

Eternity carves the names of heroes in stone,
but history forgets the moments that only dreams remember. -Kylli Berg
