High Tide

Today I will be sharing with you a poem that has been sitting in my “Drafts” for a long time.

After completely destroying the original poem, I think I finally have something worthy of posting.

I hope you like it!

High Tide

High tide is when hopes and dreams are flung into the sea,

low tide is what carries them away.

If one wee little lass,

at high tide,

flings a message into the sea,

perhaps the sea will be kind enough,

somewhere, many years from now,

against all odds,

another little lass will find the message so freely flung into the sea,

containing all hopes and dreams.
