Firework Sky

Hi,

Today I’m going to be showing you a poem I wrote called, “Firework Sky.”

I’ve been holding off on showing you this because this one word, “Khaki,” wasn’t exactly feeling right.

However, thanks to some suggestions, I’ve slightly edited this poem and I’m now ready to show you this poem.

Firework Sky

Flames colored with chemicals burst into

Incredible flashes of light.  Seemingly

Random patterns, colors, yet choreographed

Exquisitely.  Loud as thunder they boom.

Watch the sky! They will light it on Fire.

Often bursting into smaller Skyfires, raging red, brave blue,

Kryptonite green, who knows?

Silent they are not,

Killing the darkness………………..it is the night sky.

Yet, it is something more……………..it is the Firework Sky.

Thanks for reading this, I hope you liked it!
