Firebird & Phoenix

Hi,

Today I’ll be posting an acrostic poem I’ve written called “Firebird.”

To me this poem is about a Phoenix, although if I really think about it Phoenixes & Firebirds aren’t really the same thing.

However this poem will always be about a Phoenix for me, because Phoenixes roam freely in my imagination, weaving their way into the untold stories ready to be set free.

So without further ado……………………………..

Firebird

Flaming feathers,

Icy eyes,

Red feathers of flame

Engulf the

Bird often known as the Phoenix

Incinerating with a touch

Red hot flame

Dangerous, wild, Firebird

Thanks for reading this, I hope you liked it!
